A Summer as a Journalist

As the world grapples with COVID-19, we have all turned a spotlight on the public sector and how governments deal with the pandemic. At this interesting crux of time, I interned with a Singapore-based publication for public sector innovation across Asia. This culminated in 12 pieces interviewing diplomats and ministers across SEA about innovation, including diplomat Tom Fletcher on the future of digital diplomacy, Indonesian and Thai ministers about the usage of data for taxation and government planning services, and Singaporean leaders on leveraging technology for quality education and healthcare, along with pieces on AI and cybersecurity.
